Steve graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration while also earning a minor in Accounting from Waynesburg University in 2014. Following a summer of mentoring inner-city youth with leadership education through wilderness and recreational programming, Steve accepted a Part-time Family Resource Specialist position with JusticeWorks YouthCare in Washington, PA. Steve provided many of JusticeWorks YouthCare’s services including JustCare®, STOPP®, WhyTry, Anger Management, and Nurturing Parenting. He was quickly promoted to full-time and achieved Supervisor in April, 2016.

In July of 2016, Steve accepted the task to manage and expand independent living and other services in Butler County. He is enthusiastic to join the youth in activities to meet individual’s needs and provide quality service to youth and families. Steve’s community collaboration, strong work ethic, and “Whatever It Takes” attitude has resulted in his promotion to Program Director in May, 2017.
