Michael Hetrick
Program Director of Lehigh, Carbon, and Northampton County Pennsylvania
Mike graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Counseling Concentration). He began his career working as a Behavioral Staff Support at a school in Allentown for children with an ASD diagnosis.
In 2012, Mike accepted a position as a part-time Family Resource Specialist in Lehigh County. Two months later, he moved into a full-time FRS position. In 2014, Mike was promoted to Supervisor in Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon Counties.
Mike has been trained in and supervised a number of service lines within JusticeWorks, including Crisis Rapid Response, Family Finding, Family Group Decision Making, VIP, Seeking Safety, and Visit Coaching. He has implemented several new programs in the Lehigh branch including Crisis Rapid Response, Family Finding, and Plans of Safe Care. He sits on Lehigh County’s Family Engagement Initiative team as well as the Children’s RoundTable Housing Subcommittee.
Mike plans to continue to bring innovative approaches to the counties he serves and build lasting changes to the families he supports.
