JusticeWorks YouthCare is fully licensed to offer Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) services by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
AEDY services provide a combination of intense, individual academic instruction and behavior modification counseling in an alternative setting to assist students to return successfully to the regular classroom.
Our AEDY division provides safe and highly structured educational settings which improve student’s attendance and academic performance.
We find success by increasing family involvement; having high levels of student accountability, and designing specific, measurable goals for each student.
Continuity of Education Plan
Lycoming and Schuylkill Counties
We continue to offer every Compass Academy student with continuity of education opportunities through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful that we have been able to collaborate with our LEAs for implementation. On the determined date when LEAs offer Planned Instruction, Compass Academy intends to move from Enrichment and Review to Planned Instruction.
Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan
Compass Academy Lycoming AEDY
As with all emergency plans, the Health and Safety Plan developed for each school entity should be tailored to the unique needs of each school and should be created in consultation with local health agencies.
