JusticeWorks FL (JWFL) received an appropriation in 2015 by the Florida Legislature to provide behavioral support and family engagement services to students at two Hillsborough County alternative high schools.
Our goals were focused on improving students attendance, behavior, parental involvement and graduation rates. After this program was launched, our expertise in serving families in the child welfare system was recognized leading to contracted services from lead agencies in Brevard and Duval Counties. JusticeWorks FL has been committed to being a value-added provider in Florida, working in partnership with the school, children and youth, or juvenile justice systems in order to achieve positive outcomes for youth and families. Our goal is to continue to partner with agencies throughout the state.
