AT-home Learning and Support Program (ATLAS)

Home » Services » Research-Informed Practices » AT-home Learning and Support Program (ATLAS)

The ATLAS service assists families and schools using hybrid programs by providing in-home or onsite services to help transition between remote learning and in-school instruction.

As educational systems nationwide navigate through the unchartered territory of remote learning, we developed the JusticeWorks ATLAS to assist and support families and schools with the transition.

JusticeWorks YouthCare seeks to partner with academic institutions to remedy the problems associated with remote learning and hybrid programs so that all children can learn as intended. We will provide staff onsite within the student’s physical homes at an assigned weekly dosage as determined by the sending district. JusticeWorks staff will ensure that students follow their school district’s remote or hybrid learning program’s academic protocol.

Staff will assist students based on their individual learning needs and will provide the following:

  • Academic Engagement and Tutoring
  • Behavioral support
  • Computer assistance
  • Help with homework
  • Help with in-school assignments
  • Experiential learning opportunities (JWYC assigns) – Group discussions (for pod students) wrap-up
  • Individual follow-up
  • Family and school follow-up
  • Mentoring
  • Aftercare
  • Maintain support for the free and reduced lunch programs
