JusticeWorks YouthCare believes student success is strongest when schools are supported by community-based partners who understand the realities students face beyond the classroom. Over the past several years, we have had the privilege of working alongside Hickory Grove Elementary in the Brookville Area School District, building a partnership rooted in trust, accountability, and shared commitment to keeping students engaged in learning.
The following letter was written by Mr. Andy Collins, school administrator at Hickory Grove Elementary, and reflects his firsthand experience working with JusticeWorks. We are honored by his perspective and share it here as an example of how meaningful school and community collaboration can help remove barriers, strengthen families, and support students in staying connected to school and their communities.
