On July 26, 2009 JusticeWorks celebrated its 10th anniversary with an all-staff picnic outside of Reading.
Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare has established a designation of “Promising Practices” to encourage counties to utilize programs which have made the effort to track the results of their work and can demonstrate positive outcomes.
We are excited to partner with Pike County Juvenile Probation Department to provide a Community Service Program. This important service will work with juveniles on probation to assure that they complete their community service and/or restitution obligations.

Family was referred to JWYC as they returned to their house. Several months prior they were displaced due to their house being deemed inhabitable. The family’s house was infested with insects, clutter and animal feces.
