In March, JusticeWorks submitted its licensing application for SWAN which has been accepted, assuring our conformance with state regulations for the administration and operations of a children and youth social services agency (3680 regs) and adoption services (3350 regs). Lisa Snyder, Director of Indiana County has been key in the development of this project. Indiana County Children and Youth Services has agreed to contract with JusticeWorks for SWAN programming. We are pleased that Project Star, a division of the Pittsburgh Children’s Institute has agreed to be our mentor in becoming a high quality SWAN provider. Project Star has been an exemplary leader in providing SWAN services. Our mentorship began the beginning of May.

Congratulations to Lisa and the rest of her team and thank you to the great staff of Project Star. We are excited to help children find their “forever” homes!
