When I arrived at the home of the identified child, in Allentown, I was informed that the child regularly missed his daily medication which was required and that if it continued it could result in death.

The child has “full blown” AIDs and is only a teenager. I would visit the child twice a day, once at 6:15am before school and again around 4pm, in order to ensure that he was taking his medication. Since our services have been implemented, the child has consistently taken his medication as required and is able to continue living his life as a normal teenager.

If the child would have continued to miss taking his medication at the required times, he would have needed to be hospitalized and would miss his teenaged days with his friends and family. This child now routinely takes his medication and rarely needs to be reminded about the importance of complying with his medication.
