Letter written to our Director of Cumberland County, Robert Johnson.

Good morning Rob,

While I understand that there is a policy of no contact with Justice Works after a child is no longer in the Justice Works program I did feel it was important to mention a couple of things to you. First and foremost I really appreciate your effort and general concern for Mitch during our time of need, Kathleen also spent a considerable amount of time with his school to try and monitor his academics as well.  I feel as though you deserve a follow up on his current status, especially since it is a good one and your quick intervention definitely played a role in his current success. As it stands today he is doing better in school than he ever has, his lowest grade is an 83 and typically he doesn’t see a grade as high as that. While we are only a few weeks into the season this is by far the biggest effort of placing focus on his academics by a long shot. The icing on the cake is he has also been working since June, he is doing this while working almost every evening at Wendy’s. Justice Works played a huge role in me being one of the happiest and proudest parents in PA right now, while I do know to expect him to slip from time to time I am thrilled with his current progress. I just want to thank you again for being there when we needed you, please feel free to stop by my home or Wendy’s anytime, he would be extremely happy to see you.

Thank you Randal for the heartfelt letter. We are proud to have made an impact on the lives of your family. JusticeWorks is excited to hear about Mitch’s success and personal development. We look forward to his continued growth. Great work to our Cumberland County team for utilizing the “whatever it takes” drive to support this family.
